WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?
Pioneered by French physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that is widely used in Europe and elsewhere to treat various injuries and medical conditions. This treatment has been adapted and adopted and has become popular for aesthetic treatments as well. The treatment targets problem areas with microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medicines, vitamins, minerals and amino acids and more. Tiny "medicinal bullets" are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) that are highly specific to the condition being treated.

MESO-AntiCellulitic Treatment^

Mesotherapy gets results by targeting the underlying causes of cellulite - not just the outward symptoms.

Cellulite usually appears between the ages of 25 and 35, and progressively worsens with time. Although it's easily treated with a few Mesotherapy sessions in its early stages, once cellulite progresses to more advanced stages, treatment usually requires a greater number of Mesotherapy sessions.

• Stage 0: No visible cellulite, even when the skin is pinched.
• Stage 1: No visible cellulite when standing or lying down. However an "orange peel" texture can be seen when the skin is pinched.
• Stage 2: Visible cellulite when standing but not when lying down.
• Stage 3: Visible cellulite when standing and lying down.

 

Doctors usually refers to Stage 3 cellulite as "terminal cellulite," and most don't think it is possible to treat such advanced cellulite. Mesotherapy can eliminate cellulite on the legs and buttocks, breaking down the orange-peel appearance of skin, and producing a smooth contour. To treat patients with cellulite, we employs personalized Mesotherapy formulae, depending on your individual condition. All patients are allergy tested prior to treatment. Please note: allergies to the medications are quite rare.

Once you are evaluated (and it's determined you have no allergies), we shall schedule weekly treatment sessions. Each session takes about 45 minutes, and involves the injection of formulae in specific patterns (different types of cellulite require different injection techniques).

Mesotherapy is completely safe when performed by a well-trained practitioner. In fact, during the 50 years that Mesotherapy has been practiced, no deaths have occurred as a result. Compare this to liposuction, which causes approximately 100 deaths per year.

Rare, but potential side effects of Mesotherapy are slight brusing marks, a temporary burning sensation, mild to moderate soreness for 1-5 days, and (as with any injection) a slight risk of infection. All patients return to work the same day.
